OSHA Standard/Laboratory Tested
Static Coefficient of Friction (SCoF) is an indicator of friction or traction that exists between two surfaces. A SCoF of 0.50 or greater is recommended by OSHA for normal human movement between places. Higher SCoF increases the traction, and therefore reduces the potential for slipping and falling.

These reusable slip on shoe covers were tested and received a combined SCoF of 1.375, which is 2.75 times the OSHA standard. In other words, they exceeded OSHA's minimum recommended level by 175%!
